Sorry, the Sidekick line is one of the most locked-down phones in existence. There really isn't anything you can do to it that isn't in the manual.

Hold menu Shift F and get a mirror
menu shift P for mood lights

yes there are tricks for sidekick lx some are
Sidekick LX Trick 1: Flashing Lights/Mood Light Dance
ON – (jump screen) menu + shift + p
OFF – (jump screen) menu + shift + p
Sidekick LX Trick 2: Make a Mirror
menu+shift+m
Sidekick LX Trick 3: Save a Web Browser Picture
On web page press Menu, Shift & P OR menu+shift+right shoulder key
Sidekick LX Trick 5:View Full Browser
once on browser, menu+shift+t
Snow Bored Game
settings, about sidekick, menu+shift+8
Flashlight
press menu+f
Music Player
press jump button+done button (press the bottom left and bottom right buttons)
and those are all the tricks
