How do I fix this problem with my HTC phone? Please help!?

Question by : How do I fix this problem with my HTC phone? Please help!?
My HTC Desire S phone is now only turning on when it's plugged in the charger. It will automatically switch off when I remove it from the charger.
The phone shop hasn't been much help. They just said I should remove the battery, but the problem is still occuring. I have only had this phone for 7months, and it's distressing to see it already having problems. :(
Any tip/suggestions please give me. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have an HTC phone and one suggestion, would be check your warranty. Second what about replacing the battery, other than that ask about a trade in. Outside of that, I can't think of any else you might do. I know this may not be much help, but at least it's a start. Good luck. Oh, I don't use my HTC phone anymore, and would like to sell it, so if interested drop me a line, cheap too, only around 75 dollars, if you want it. It's a G1. and works well, I just other phones I use now.

  1. Contact htc online
charge the battery switch off the phone wile still charging then rmove the charger after some time switch on the phone .

Keep the phone (switched of)f in the sun for some time thrn.switch it on

stop the charging process and remove the back cover then remove the battery place the battery properly back. [do all this carefully with the phone switched off and the charge (r) unpluged properly from the phone.

If nome of these work borrow some one’s htc desire s ( your phone type ) battery and try it if it starts then , then yoir battery may have a problem

p.s you could check your battery status in settings .
