i’m so sorry but i think it’s not work, because inside the phone evaporation is very slow and phone will work when some components is wet. but after a few days your phone will stop working. my 6600 got some water, i completely disassembled it and dried for hourswith hair drier…after than it was placed open air for one day, than i assembled it and worked. about one month later it fell into silent.

i dropped my phone in water less than 2 days ago, and i’m just now trying this method, phone is not working….is it too late?

  16. jiniton says:

blow drying the phone will drive the moisture deeper into the circuits, and do not sue silica gel! use rice instead. there are so many things wrong with this video. but most importantly, DO NOT TURN ON YOUR PHONE BEFORE IT IS COMPLETELY DRY. it will turn on,but it will short circuit. and fuck up. call up everyone to explain how much money you spent to get it fixed.

  24. sk8rguy4life1123 says:

fuck i just threw my silica gel like 30 minutes ago after i took it out of the wet bag

  25. LE55ONS says:

Its a good idea to remove the battery as soon as possible, then put the phone in a long sock and swing it around very fast to get all the water out, move the phone into different positions and swing it round again. This will remove most of the water trapped in the phone’s case. Then use the silica gel in a box
