My HTC Touch phone got wet, what can i do?
So i went to the river, and i accidentally brought my phone with me in my back pack... and my canoe tipped over. so now my phone got totally soaked, the phone turned off by itself, and the screen is covered in condensation... is there anything i can do to fix it? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

We dropped ours in a snow bank and it got run over, that is what insurance is for. By some miracle, you might be able to dry it, by wiping off as much moisture as you can, taking out the battery and leaving the pieces in a dry environment out of the sun for a while, but I wouldn't count on it.

  1. Get an extended battery for HTC hero can also solve the problem of short battery life. Search “Batterybay HTC Hero Extended Battery” in google or yahoo and get one now!!

  2. Try this:

    Power the phone off.
    Press and hold the BACK and HOME button.
    While still holding BACK and HOME, tap the power button and follow the on screen instructions. If I recall it makes mention of a action button. The action button is the trackball (click it).

  3. ok i just bought the htc hero from my friend ad i would like to know how do you restart the whole phone so everything starts from the beginning where theres nothing on it.someone please help
