I have tried pressing both volume controls together to mute/unmute but that does no good. I can hear the person I'm calling clearly.

Make sure that the Motorola H700 headset is supported with the BlackBerry smartphone.
Alot of headsets that are recently coming out on the market have yet been tested with specific phones.This is why before purchasing the headset, always make sure to verify which phones the headset can be used with.
If this headset is supported by the BlackBerry, then make sure that the pairing has been established properly under the Bluetooth pairing screen.

Its a new phone ( for me) . The version I'm using is V4- the software doesnt see my phone when I try to conncet, but it gives me a list of phones to select from- and of course, my model isnt on it...I've tried a number of different models, but none of them will allow me to move media to my phone. Its a verizon model, so its on lockdown. Help.....Please....Thanks!

i do not know about Phone Tools, but u can try a program called P2K (http://storage.e398mod.com/soft/P2KTools.rar) and it is very simple to be used with any moto phone (works for me on E398), also to know how to connect it to the pc read this topic it may work with your phone too (http://www.e398mod.com/content/view/104/25/).
