Question by SweetLikeChocolate..x: How do i change the icons on my sony ericsson?
My sony ericsson w910i is on orange, so i have the horrible orange icons when i go on the menu, so how can i change it so that it looks like this?
Answer by Rich Boi There are a few ways of doing this, that's if your referring to the menu icons and it's shortcut icons. First and for most the easiest I presume is Flash Menus, these consist out of two components the ".thm" file linked to the ".swf" file. The .swf file is what contains the graphics for the menu while the .thm is a normal .thm file just with a extra piece of coding that connects to the .swf file. The ".swf" file is then placed in the system folders, with no other alterations. While the .thm file is uploaded like a normal .thm file. Look at this site to c how they look like.
The other option is to replace you existing icons with a unique pic(in either ".png", ".jpg" or ".gif"(non animated) formats). For this you'll need a small (believe me when I say small) amount of programming knowledge, when you look back you'll be telling yourself that's so easy. You'll be editing you menu.ml file in your Phone's System folders

I do Sony Ericsson hacking, Flashed several phone's before, I actually own a k530i that I modified to running on w660i firmware. Personalized my Menu and shortcut icons, have more than 25 flash themes and 320 standby wallpapers(these change according to the specific time, battery life, signal quality and correspond to the Walkman functions), custom acrostics(That's your phone's advanced sound capabilities), custom Cam Drives. Oh, and Opera Mini 4.2 (mobile version) in my main menu.
