.. it has tips on improving battery life for the eris. i own it and have noticed the battery life is not so great but these tips help. very informative. also download the app called advanced task killer it will stop things like the browser while the phone is inactive.

Be forewarned that this will delete all the data on the phone.
1. Turn off the t-mobile dash.
2. Hold the two soft keys (the dashes to the left and right of the phone buttons) See picture below for location.

3. At the same time, hold the power button for 1-2 seconds and then release the soft keys.
4. When it prompts you to clear the storage, push the “send” button(green phone button).

This is a quick how to for performing a Master Reset on your HTC 620 / 621 Dash / Excaclibur.

This is useful if your T-mobile Dash will not boot up properly.

1. Press and hold both soft keys.
2. While holding down the 2 soft keys, press and release the power button. It should power itself on in about 3-5 seconds after this step
3. Release the two soft keys that you have been pressing forever!
4. When the screen looks like it is at a DOS prompt or format, press the green answer key(the Send Button).

Give it it a try a few times if you are having issues with booting your phone.
