Where is the speaker key on the Motorola SLVR L7 and what are some sites where I can get tips or mods for it?
Question by Geneva D: Where is the speaker key on the Motorola SLVR L7 and what are some sites where I can get tips or mods for it?
I want to use my speakerphone and every manual say to hit the speaker key on the side. I tried every button on the side of my phone during a call and it never works. Also I need sites where I can do some easy and instant mods for my phone, anything helps!

Question by Bill: Anyone have any tips on phone functions for the Motorola E815? I read the manual , looking to fine tune it?
I have read the manual but I found some useful info on a review site and was wondering if anyone has any favorite settings you could share with me or anything you happened to learn after having it a while that you like. I just want to get the most out of my phone. I really like it. I just got it yesterday. Thanks for any responses.

I don't use the calendar, unless I need to look up a date in the future to find what day of the week it is. I don't care for how it is set up to get to the tools (calulator, calendar, etc.) but it does allow you to make shortcuts to the ones you use the most often. Don't remember offhand how, but the manual will tell you. Once the shortcuts are set, you press the top center button, then whichever number is assigned to that shortcut. I only have two assigned, for the calculator and the alarm (I like to nap!). It's so infrequent that I use any of the other "tools" that I figure if I program any more, I'd just forget them. I must mention, that I reprogrammed the top left button as it was set to connect to the internet. I almost never use that feature, and was paying several dollars a month just for the few times a month I accidentally pressed it, so I reprogrammed it to activate the camera. The top right button pulls up the address book, which I believe was how it came programmed. I did reprogram the center button so that when you press it the first on the list is "recent calls" and the one below it is "messages". Basically, that allows me to get to whatever I use most often with two keystrokes. Hope this has helped. (and thanks for your info on the mini DV software). Cheers, Garth
